Some "improvements"

  • Hello fellas,


    I Would like to share some of the things that I don't like ( hate ) at this game.


    1. The pass mode and Removed maps:
      • I still don't get why you deleted some of the maps that was in s4 or you don't post some new skins for the already maps ( I remember there was christmas skins for st2 or azit ex if i remember and we didn't had it)
      • I would like to see at least half of the TD maps in the TD Pass Mode. If some people think it would be too easy some specific map you could try to make the ball (entety ball) to not be able to go trough some walls like it is in Chaser and nightmare map. Only the Chaser can go trough a floor & wall and people can't. So there would be .. let's say a labyrinth made of that type of walls/floors etc. for the player that has the ball and the ball can't be passed trough that wall . If some people didn't understood what I tried to say here I can show that using a game (that's not on Aeria) via PM.:Fumbi2:
    2. Bugs:
      • We know that s4 have a lot of bugs but for me I think there are still some bad and annoying bugs and i would like to see what's the priority of these:
        1. The Chaser block bug: The bug when the Chaser can't get up. I don't know how you can fix it but it is really annoying because I saw a good amount of players that exploit it too much.
        2. The Azit Ex behind spawn bug: We all know that bug and some of us don't get it why it is still there. On Captain or DM v1 rooms that bug kills the spirit.

    3. Week-end Challenges :
      • I've think about a nice way to make the week-ends challenges better (from my POV). Why don't you guys put a new tab next to the achievements menu and you change from there every week or so. In the week time when the challenge is ofc off you could let there a Timer to the next challenge and when it is time for a challenge to put like is is the mission , on right the mode and map and on left the max hours you can do it and the rewards for every hour. I'd say that if you do hat it will be better for both sides especially for the staff team because they won't search anymore everybody to see who did the challenge or no ( the players get the rewards after every hour via a pop-out at the end of the match).

    1. Weapon adjustments:
      1. Nerf: :cursing:Alice7
        • Breaker: We all had, have and will have problems with the Br because is too strong. I'd like to see a cooldown to the jump attack like you guys did to CS couple years ago because if we try to get it logically how can you move faster an heavier weapon , BR, than an easier weapon, bat, . There is no logic.
        • Plasma Sword: I hate so god dam much the stunlock/stunkill (the hek you people call it) and I want to see that nerf. I want to see a cooldown on it (again as you people did with cs so we couldn't do the boomerang trick all the time) . In that way we could at least don't see stunlock in v1 maps and harder to be done in bigger rooms. The stunlock kills the spirit of the game because you lock the enemy and he can't do * .
        • Iron boots: The movement speed of the IB is too much . You can lower it to have the same as dagger (it will still have the right click boost but it helps)
        • Railgun : Even tho I play almost all the time Swords I still do some guns match and I didn't like the buff of the railgun because you people created a shotgun and a sniper in the same weapon. You should/must kill the knockback if the player don't zoom in and lower the dmg if the player don't zoom in.
      2. Buff:
        • Vital Claw: Is the only buff I see we need it because the weapon is nice ( or at least the concept). I would like that the dash to do the same dmg as the ps dash. and increase with a bit the dmg of the push.



    That may be all of what I thought it is necessary. I'm open to any other changes.

  • I almost agree with everything.

    The passmode is an underrated mode, if there were more maps, it will be more played. But most of the maps are unplayable, and I don't know if it's easy for dev' to make what you have in mind (modify the wall of a map). So what I have in mind is a new TD Map that could also fit with the passmode, however, as Kara told in his live Q&A, the priority is to make new patch but we shouldn't expect that much so fast, a new map isn't something easy to make.. :/

    Honestly the Azit ex spawn bug, who cares, it's not difficult to get in, to get out, and what's the point of staying here, that musn't be a priority, we could ofc fix it later but there are more things more important like the error B11 and other stuff like that, we have to make the game attractive, fixing the server bugs, before making bigger adverstising of it #LiveQ&A

    "Iron boots: The movement speed of the IB is too much." ??? The IB Move Speed is the same as all other weapon except the dagger/vital shock. However, it's true that this weapon needs a nerf, mostly because of the Boost. IB Players are only playing with the boost, and then switch. Maybe make it a bit slower, or raise its SP consumption, or make it shorter.

    A weapon that I think which also needs a nerf is the demon's Fist, it deals too much damage with its light, its range is OP and with only 4 Lights, you're low or dead.


    The buff of the vital shock must be way higher than what you told. Vital Shock should be an equivalent of the dagger since its movement speed is the same as the dagger. The dash has a HUGE delay and doesn't even deal so much damage, the Dash + Strong is horrible. If you miss it, you're 100% dead, you can't turn you camera while doing it, you can easily dodge recov the push after the dash. The Strong of the vital only grab the opponent, and then ? It doesn't deal any damage, you can try combo it with another weapon but if you're opponent is already trying to hit you, you're just allowing him to kill you faster.. The aircut is great, maybe reduce a bit its SP Consumption and it needs way more damage for something which costs SP. You can't even kill a player that has more than 12 hp with an FP stat vital.. All in all, this weapon needs a buff on every attack..



  • A weapon that I think which also needs a nerf is the demon's Fist, it deals too much damage with its light, its range is OP and with only 4 Lights, you're low or dead.

    I didn't find that weapon so badly. I do admit that the dmg is big but that weapon is easy to counter. I've played against players who used the fist and I saw that the only hard moment to counter is you use br too. Fist alone is no big deal.

  • The pass mode and Removed maps:


    Why caring about old maps when nobody plays em anyway? Don't remember a Christmas themed Station-2 map but Azit and/or Azit-Ex had the Christmas theme.


    I would like to see many people that actually play TD Pass Mode to begin with.



    Bugs:


    Don't know the Chaser bug. Don't play Chaser anyway xD


    Don't play Azit-Ex on Captain/DM v1 rooms. Problem solved. - Nobody plays Captain + there are also other Captain maps, and DM was never intended to be played v1 + there are also other maps.



    Week-end Challenges:


    Would be better to give these up at all.



    Weapon adjustments:


    Nerf:

    Breaker: Have no problem with it. There are so many ways to counter it.

    Plasma Sword: Same here as with Breaker.

    Iron Boots: Yeah movement speed should be less.

    Railgun: Well just the old version of it would do.


    Buff:

    Vital Claw: I don't think Vital Claw should get more dmg. Vital Claws functions aren't made for kills in my opinion.

    Well I think this explains the Chaser thing a bit^^ (or the whole situation)


    Not sure if this is about Azit-Ex itself or the Captain mode. Having sometimes 1 room out of hundreds doesn't feel like Captain is getting attention. And Azit-Ex has this dumb bug but if people would care so much about it they wouldn't play the map until it is fixed.


    Aeria Games just got the development some months ago and making these events where everyone is farming for bad rewards in my opinion doesn't encourage me to play the game. And because nobody is moderating the game it won't stop. I'm online to play and not to sit afk in a room or chat with people. I mentioned the development part because they could make better season based events like winter or summer event in the future. And the automatic reward sending (as I understood in your first post) is sure something they would also work on. Sending every reward manual is sure time-consuming and focusing more on the development stuff and feedback + the live Q&A is something I would wish for (but what do I know, maybe they haven't so much to do xD)

    They have not been removed, they have been replaced.

    You can still see some similarity with their predecessors, as in Oldmoon the Windows of each spawns and in RustyGarden the ramps.

  • There aren't actually any similarities but those have been indeed replaced. If they are still somewhere in the code I guess they can be re-added
