A question regarding "forced lags" (?)

  • Hello, I'm not sure how to call this kind of lag but I've seen it a few times in the past days:

    I often play TD St-2 and there are sometimes people who get suddenly lags when they're near the goal - and score. Coincidence? I think not. I heard there is a way to force lags for a few milliseconds so that we can't see them in the table (TAB -> Ping). I don't wanna discuss how they do that, I'd just like to know if there is a way to do something against that? tenor.gif

    Here are two screenshots of a DM match I had a few minutes ago. Not sure if these were the lags. (Although the players with the above-mentioned lags just float in the air for 1 second and then run into the goal and maybe die.)

  • If their connection is bad and you interact with them, they will get lag spikes since the connection can't handle the traffic.

    However if you see it happens only when they are about to score (or only lags before they die), you can report them if you can record a video or something.
